FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: gaseous promoter is supplied through inlet 72. Blow-out gas is supplied through inlet 70 into chamber 67, and then through channel 71 into reaction area 68. Radiation from the source passes through optical window 58 and imparts energy to molecules of the regulating mixture in reaction area 68 and any promoter in chamber 67 through generation of free radicals, which stimulate reaction. As a result of constant blowing of chamber 67, optical window 58 appears separated from reaction area 68 by a gas blanket, as a result of which no deposit forms on it.
EFFECT: reduced formation of carbonic deposits on optical windows or light transmitting elements.
