FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: valve gear incorporates exhaust valve with heads and stems interacting with valve seats arranged at the cylinder block head cover bottoms. Seat circular inner surfaces are furnished with circular grooves arranged in the valve seat-to-head contact zone, their width regularly decreasing towards their outer circular surfaces. Seats are furnished with vertical channels communicating with aforesaid circular grooves arranged on the surface facing the cylinders.

EFFECT: lower impact loads on valves in their closing.
