FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism comprises valve with its threaded stem 8 connected by one end to round plate 13 interacting with valve head surface 1. Taper recess 17 is made on valve head face surface 1 directed toward said stem. Ledge 18 shaped to truncated cone is made at the surface of said round plate 13. Bases of tapered recess 17 and ledge 18 features diameters similar with those of valve head and round plate.

EFFECT: better tightness in round plate-to-valve head joint.
