FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed ICE valve gear comprises valve with head interacting with valve seat and made integral with hollow rod. Said hollow rod houses solid rod. Valve heat has channels with their lengthwise axes parallel to those of said rods. Solid rod is threaded, its thread interacting with mating inner thread of hollow rod. Hollow rod end has ledges to translate in guides rigidly secured in ICE housing. Solid rod end has round plate with its OD equal to that of valve head face.

EFFECT: higher engine efficiency.
