SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The diesel engine valve gear comprises a block head (3) with guiding bushings plugs (2) and the valves consisting of the plates (4) which are rigidly connected with rods (1). The valve rods (1) along their length located on sections of inlet or outlet manifolds are implemented in the form of hyperboloids.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of capacity and in decrease of thermal stress of valves.
