SUBSTANCE: system for radiation therapy delivery includes: gentry; patient fixation device, designed to fix a patient relative to patient fixation device; positioning mechanism, designed to position a patient, and connected with patient fixation device, making possible direction of the latter along linear motion and rotation axes in gentry; radiation therapy head, connected with gentry and selectively delivering radiation therapy along the beam axis; measuring sensors set for outer parameters, detecting at least patient fixation device and head positions; controller, receiving information of at least patient fixation device and head positions, giving commands to motion the patient positioning mechanism for the purpose of patient positioning in prescribed aspect relative to the beam axis.

EFFECT: improving accuracy and quickness of patient positioning process.
