FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: hovercraft consists of hull, inducer with steering gear and air ducts to supply air in air-cushions via side elements of flexible seal, made as flexible canvass sheets, stern flexible seal, bow flexible seal, side skegs, distributing collector. Collector is located over stern flexible seal with inlet part being connected to lower part of inducer and outlet part having air channels one of which is connected with side flexible seal cavities and the other - with air-cushion cavity. Air supply in side flexible seal cavities is performed from centre line plane to side skegs. Lower edges of canvass sheets are rigidly secured on hull bottom forming elastic air channels and bottom parts of canvass sheets have holes for outlet of air into air-cushion zone and for discharge of water or snow. Flexible longitudinal plates are installed on outer surfaces of canvass sheets outside holes. Outer edges of canvass sheets are secured on outer side of skegs.
EFFECT: increase of hovercraft reliability and efficiency by diminishing of specific consumption of materials and weight of hovercraft, maintainability, performance and start characteristics, and cargo-lifting capacity improvement.
