FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, and more precisely - to the field of design and manufacture of hovercraft. A non-self-propelled cargo platform on an air cushion is proposed, characterized in that it contains a body and a system for creating excess pressure. The body is made of fiberglass, divided into sections of the power unit and cargo. Sheathing sheets together with framing beams form a glued strong structure with the corresponding side, deck, bulkhead, bottom ceilings, the hull framing system is transverse, the hull framing consists of mutually intersecting bottom stringers and cross braces. Sheathing sheets consist of reinforcing layers with intermediate layers of polymer resin. The outer surface of the body is covered with a protective layer of gelcoat. The overpressure generation system contains a power plant, which includes two engines, two angular gearboxes and two centrifugal superchargers. An elastic coupling made of wear-resistant vibration-resistant rubber is installed between the engine power take-off shaft and the gearbox. On the sides of the platform body there are intake air ducts oriented along the platform.
