FIELD: transport engineering; air cushion vehicles in which air cushion is built by common propulsive complex with air fan owing to direction of part of air stream from propeller into air chamber formed under vehicle bottom and limited by flexible guard over perimeter. SUBSTANCE: flexible guard of air cushion has side skeg cylinders with spoilers and bow skirt and stern curtain in form of open cylinder secured on front and rear edge to frame moving in diametral plane. Bow skirt is made in form of part of inverter truncated cone with upper edge of curtain secured to front curvilinear contour of bottom and side edges connected at angle to outer surfaces of skeg cylinders. Length of arc of lower edge of bow skirt is smaller than summary length of chords connecting end points of arc of bow skirt upper edge with point of this arc on diametral plane. Aeration holes are made on lower edge of skirt. Inner surface of stern curtain in upper part is provided with air jets. This curtain is provided with drain holes in its lower part. Damping devices in form of vertically mounted nonmetallic plates are installed along rear edge of stern curtain. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
