FIELD: oil and gas industry .
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of proplants employed in oil producing industry at extraction of oil by method of hydraulic break-down of formation. The method of preparation of magnesium-silicate proplants employed in production of oil by the method of hydraulic break-down of a formation consists in thermo-treatment and crumbling of source raw material, in granulating and roasting produced granules, in additional heating granules to the temperature of 50-70°C, in applying during their mixing in a mixer a silicone sealant poly(oxi(dimethylsilane) with neutral hardening type at weight of 0.4-1.5% from weight of granules, in successive introducing water into the mixer at 0.03-0.06% weight from weight of granules and conditioning till hydrophobic coating hardens.
EFFECT: upgraded permeability of proplants layer due to reduced impact resistance and increased hydrophobic behavior and degree of roundedness.
