FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, namely simulation methods for pathologic processes, proceeding in oral cavity, and can be applied for simulation of dental calculus formation. For this purpose a tooth is exposed during 7 to 180 days to artificial medium of the following composition: CaCl2-0.2575 g/l, (NH4)2HPO4 - 0.2376 g/l, K2HPO4 - 1.2107 g/l, NaF - 0.4452 g/l, MgCl2 - 0.1319 g/l, NaHCO3 - 0.6216 g/l, KCl - 3.0843 g/l.
EFFECT: means of recognising susceptibility to dental calculus formation, and planning preventive measures against its arising and growth.
