FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to the field of transport engineering in particular to transportation equipment intended for generating control commands for car traction electric drives primarily for subway cars. Controller contains interconnected reverse and main shafts with corresponding handles and main shaft locking mechanism. Coding wheel is installed on the main shaft. Coding wheel is fixed with possibility to interact with reading sensors unit. Device contains decoder with galvanically isolated outputs and electromagnetic contactor. At the same time decoder inputs are connected with corresponding outputs of reading sensors unit and each decoder output is connected to terminal of one electromagnetic contactor coil. Contacts of electromagnetic contactor are connected to train cables. In this device reverse and main shafts can be installed perpendicular to each other.
EFFECT: reliability and safety improvement due to separation of controller control system and power supply network of train cables, driver's cabin layout ergonomics improvement.
