FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical heating cable. Electrical heating cable includes heat conductor and insulating polytetrafluoroethylene capsules. One of the capsules is represented with heating conductor insulation, the other one is the external enclosure. Insulation layer is produced from the fluoropolymer melt. The second version of the heating cable design provides for including grounding conductor, which fully covers the external side of grounding conductor, and shock-absorbing layer made of fluoropolymer melt and positioned between grounding conductor and protective layer. Electric heating cable may contain parallel un-insulated feeding conductor and heating wire. Shock-absorbing layers may be produced from polytetrafluoroethylene co-polymer.
EFFECT: protection of polytetrafluoroethylene capsules from damage under significant mechanical effects.
