FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to light, highly-effective high-temperature and fire-resistant films and tapes, applied for insulation of wires and cables, which are used in different exploitation conditions, for instance, during drilling works and development of deposits. Insulated wire contains core (10) and insulating polymer envelope, containing internal polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) layer (12) for providing electroinsulating properties, intermediate layer (14) of polymer, which contains aromatic and/or heterocyclic rings, for instance, polyetheretherketone (PEEK), for improvement of mechanical properties, such as resistance to wear and dynamic rupture, and external layer (16) of PTFE, which adds resistance to electric and chemical impact and provides agglomeration of the entire structure. During agglomeration intermediate layer can be subjected to deformation or melting, which can result in obtaining additional and unexpected insulating properties. Each film is preferably from 25 to 50 mcm thick.
EFFECT: claimed film is fire-proof, resistant to exposure to high temperatures and other unfavourable conditions material and can be applied for production of compact, thin and light insulation.
