FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed metal wire or metal-core cable is enclosed in sintered insulation wound thereon in one or more layers with end sections being overlapped by polytetrafluoroethylene based non-sintered winding tape which is planoconvex in section; disposed between conductor 1 and insulation is polyamide winding tape 2 wound in one or more layers whose at least uppermost layer facing insulation is connected through force joint to layer facing conductor 1 that forms insulation of polytetrafluoroethylene based winding tape 3.
EFFECT: enhanced electric and mechanical strength.
