SUBSTANCE: chewing gum pellet contains at least two separate bound chewing gum elements with at least one of them containing pressed gum base granules. The above pressed gum base granules contain at least one biodegradable polyester polymer. Method of chewing gum pellet production involves linking by pressing at least two separate chewing gum elements one on another thus producing chewing gum pellet. At least one of the above chewing gum elements contains pressed gum base granules which contain at least one biodegradable polymer. At least one of the chewing gum elements contains active ingredients thus physical or chemical interaction between the elements of chewing gum pellet is eliminated.

EFFECT: improved mechanical stability.
