FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: device contains casing, knife, countershaft and device for impulse actuation of knife. Facility for putting knife into impulse motion is arranged in the form of knife cross bar. Cross bar is made with the possibility to fix at least one knife in it and possibility of rotary impulse working motion from idle condition to speed of synchronous motion of knife working edge and moving material in the area of their contact, braking after contact of knife working edge with moving material and positioning in idle condition.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of conveyor lines and accuracy of moving materials processing.
