FIELD: mechanics; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device contains the three-phase rectifier (1) with a rigid external characteristic and adjustable voltage of no-load operation. The capacitor bank is connected to its output clips (2). The shaping element (3) in the form of an artificial shaping line (ASL) consists from n cells, each of which consists of sequentially powered up capacitor and among choke. The choke of last cell is executed in an aspect of the fast-saturating choke (6). The ASL (3) is powered up in a diagonal of the thyristor single-phase bridge organised by charge-recharge thyristors (7,8,9,10) and other diagonal of the bridge powered up sequentially in a welding circuit. At serial unlocking of thyristor pairs being in opposite shoulders of the thyristor bridge, impulses of a current of a recharge under the shape close to the rectangular leak through an arc interval.
EFFECT: possibility to generate impulses of a welding current with parametres ensuring steady burning of an arc in a dynamic condition, reliability of operation of the device and heightening of power indexes at the expense of an exception of a stage of a preliminary charge of capacitors of a shaping line.
