FIELD: construction, pipeline.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to pipeline transport and may be employed in repair of pipelines with cracks and corrosion defects. Pipeline is decompressed, split sleeve is installed, halves of the sleeve ate welded by longitudinal seams, hardening non-corrosive active polymeric material is pumped into the space between the sleeve and pipeline and pipeline pressure is restored. The sleeve has been welded gaps between the sleeve and pipeline in defect areas of the pipeline are detected, gaps contours are set and filling of gaps is controlled by method of ultrasonic non-destructive examination.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the pipeline.
