FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to construction and operation of underground main pipelines from steel pipes with factory-applied corrosion-protection coating, and can be used for its repair and prevention of defect growth in pipeline walls at their operation. A hose clamp with holes above the coating stripping is installed, and pipe metal is heated at the stripping point from inside the pipe to the coating softening temperature. A stripping gap is increased owing to screwing transient tubes into the holes. The gap is cleaned, flushed and blown through the holes with compressed air and solvents. Adhesive compound is pumped to the gap; filling and curing of the compound is performed under conditions of ultrasonic treatment performed through the hose clamp.

EFFECT: improving the efficiency of the filling technology of coating stripping in pipelines with low value of gaps with noncorrosion-active polymer material, and ensuring the elimination quality of gaps and adhesion of polyethylene coating to the pipe metal.
