FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: use: for control of structures from polymer composite materials (PCM). Summary of invention consists in the fact that input of ultrasonic oscillations into material of one of connected sheets, or into sheet material in "sheet-filler" connection, recording signals reflected from defects in the sheet, from defects in the adhesive layer and from the interfaces "sheet – adhesive layer", "adhesive layer – sheet", "adhesive layer – aggregate" using an ultrasonic flaw detector, which is provided with a direct combined piezoelectric broadband converter and double-string system automatic defects signalling (ADS), wherein the presence of a defect in the sheet is determined from the amplitude of the ultrasonic signal reflected from discontinuity inside the sheet, and the presence of a defect in the adhesive layer is determined from the amplitude of the signal reflected from the adhesive layer at the location of the defect of the adhesive layer relative to the position of the corresponding strobes ADS, installed during tuning flaw detector on sample, having artificial defects of sheet and adhesive layer, wherein detection of said defects is carried out when detecting amplitudes of ultrasonic signals reflected from the defect in the sheet and from the defect of the adhesive layer, which is carried out in one act of scanning the surface of one of the connected sheets, or a sheet in the "sheet-filler" connection, wherein position, time duration and level on amplitude scale of flaw detector of first of two gates ADS is set during tuning on an artificial sheet defect, and the second strobe is set on an artificial defect of the adhesive layer made in the samples.

EFFECT: possibility of controlling continuity of a monolithic sheet from PCM and detection of defects in an adhesive layer of the adhesive joint, which are realized in one act of scanning the surface of one of the connected sheets or a sheet in the "sheet-filler" compound.
