FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to optical location, applied television technique and can be used for design of portable, automobile and stationary remote supervisory control system in adverse foggy weather including background noise. The challenge in view is solved with object visualisation method and device within operator-distant region based on pulse sounding of controlled region using radiation of spectral structure corresponding to reflexion spectrum of detected objects, receiving of reflected radiation, transformation of this radiation to video signal and thereafter to controlled region image visible by operator.
EFFECT: higher range, probability and reliability of object visualisation, search, detection and identification within operator-distant region with observation conditions through partially transparent medium and background radiation, and simultaneous time reduction of object search, device radiation power, dimensions, weight and cost.
