FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: solid-state amplifier of x-range power contains pre-amplifier connected to microstrip power divider n outputs of which are connected with inputs of N microwave amplifiers, outputs of microwave amplifiers are connected to N-channel adder unit connected with detector head. Supply voltage and control signal is supplied from modulating pulse distributor to control input of pre-amplifier and control input of each of N microwave amplifiers. The solid-state amplifier features N-channel adder unit comprising N waveguiding TEM (traverse electromagnetic mode)-bridges with corresponding inputs connected with outputs of N microwave amplifiers directly by coaxial-to-waveguide transitions, and its output is connected to detector head via waveguide flange. In this structure microstrip power divider additionally contains signal phase correction elements in each channel and is connected with inputs of N microwave amplifiers by rigid cables providing structure mechanical isolation from fixed in space points of entry in N-channel adder unit. Bodies of each of N microwave amplifiers are frame bearing elements linked into rectangular frame structure. Introduction of mentioned above features provides technical result.

EFFECT: possibility to minimise losses in summing up power of N microwave amplifiers in N-channel adder unit made as N waveguiding TEM-bridges and elimination of dependence of power amplifier tuning on maximum power result on initial phase incursion in each microwave amplifier due to series step tuning in isolated devices; mass and dimensions parameters improvement due to dismountable frame structure.
