FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in superhard material synthesis, such as diamond and cubic boron nitride, as well as in thermobaric processing of various materials. High pressure high-temperature device includes two coaxial composite matrixes containing reference 1 and work 2 parts with steel support 4, separated by dielectric pad 3 made of asbestos, paronite, pyrophyllite or cardboard. Matrixes form hollow where tank 5 featuring reaction charge 6 and heater is placed. Ring 7 made of metal with modulus of elasticity over 100 MPa out of range comprised by copper, titanium or iron is positioned between work parts 2 of matrixes. Ring 7 forms locking layer and facilitates production of required high pressure in reaction volume.
EFFECT: stable performance during heating and pressure increase and release.
