FIELD: technology of production of superhard materials, for instance, diamonds and dense modifications of boron nitride and also articles from them in high-pressure devices. SUBSTANCE: device of high temperature and pressure has two hard-alloy punches fastened by steel supporting and locking rings. Central hollows and periphery circular grooves are made on end surfaces of punches facing each other. Tops of central hollows and periphery circular grooves are located on surface of rotation with device axis. Located in central hollows and periphery circular grooves are containers and circular sealing spacers of plastic materials. Height of punch and locking rings of the device are smaller then supporting rings. Made between ends faces of lower and upper locking rings is a cavity. End face of one locking ring has an annular projection. Layer of heat and electric insulation material is located between end faces of upper and lower supporting rings. Ratios of sizes of device components are governed by type of sintered superhard materials and articles manufactured from them.
