FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to inorganic binary granulated foam IBGF and to method of production thereof. Method of IBGF production includes preparation of "A Component" through severe sequential mixing at temperature 92-98°C of components as follows, wt fractions: water 27.0 and dry sodium alkali 1.4 or water 9.0 and 40% aqueous solution of sodium alkali 19.0 with tripoli powder 11.6-12.0 and then with sodium glass 60. "B Component" is prepared through severe sequential mixing at temperature 92-98°C of components as follows, wt fractions: water 42.4 and dry sodium alkali 28.0 or 40% aqueous solutions of sodium alkali 70.4 with powder aluminium hydroxide 29.6. Two-component jelly-like system is synthesised and granulated through severe mixing of "A Component" and "B Component" in volume ratio 100:(18-25). Prepared jelly is cord-like pressed. Pressed cords are dusted with tripoli powder and/or talc, kaolin, fine glass waste, sand. Cords are cut for granulation. Granulates are rolled in tumbling barrel and foamed using thermal method by intensive heating and curing at temperature 380 to 800°C set from required density of produced foam granules. IBGF is produced by method specified above.

EFFECT: production of low-density and high vapour permeability IBGF.
