SUBSTANCE: invention is related to oil and gas industry, in particular, to control of subsurface well repair installations. Device comprises pressure gage for measurement of air pressure imposed on coupling, logical circuit for control of measured air pressure and comparison of measured air pressure with specified range of pressures. In the method realisation operator is notified by sound or light alarm, when measured pressure is within the specified range.

EFFECT: reduction of expenses for installation repair, equipment wear extent.
