FIELD: physics; test engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to sheet stamping. Bending test is carried out on two boards of a specimen on any angle of up to 90°. The device used is a stamping device with a die and matrices. The stamping device is fitted on press equipment. The measuring devices are indicators and high precision protractors, which are used for measuring linear and angular parameters of the specimen with high accuracy, after unloading. All version of this testing method correspond to production processes of flexible sheet material using a die and stamping matrices, and allows for high precision measuring of angle of spring action and such boundary parameters as maximum permissible bending angle and minimum permissible bending radius until formation of cracks on the specimen. Use of powerful pressing equipment for conducting tests enables testing specimens with large thickness and width, made from high-strength sheet materials.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of testing.
