FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sheet-metal stamping and can be used in all national economy sectors for evaluation of deforming and formability parametres of different sheet materials. Technical result is reached by the following: the role of technical device for testing is performed by die instrument with moving die, die orifice, pressure plate. Note that, die instrument is installed at heavy duty pressure equipment. As measuring tools indicator, scale rule or protractor of greater accuracy are used. With the help of these tools linear and angular parametres of the sample after unloading are determined with high accuracy. The sample spring back angle is calculated from the expression. For hard clamping of sample edges before testing die instrument is equipped with various versions of locking elements.
EFFECT: provision of possibility to define more accurately material suitability for stamping of high accuracy parts.
