FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for development of a new stamping device for sheet material testing for spring action and limit deformation. In production conditions at operations of different details bending, to greater degree (in comparison with known methods), this scheme of blank deforming and form changing allows to determine more accurately fitness of both thin and thick sheet material for stamping of details with high accuracy. Effect is attained due to use of stamping device with dies, matrix and sample edge clamps for testing; during process stamping device is installed at press equipment and three indicators are used as measurement instruments determining with high accuracy linear and angular parameters of sample after removal of load. All options of this stamping device correspond to manufacturing dies used for sheet material bending by means of stamping punch, matrix and clamps; they allow determination of high-accuracy spring action angle and limit parametres such as maximum allowable bending angle and minimum allowable bending radius before crack formation at sample and also type of crack and nature of material damage after bending. Stamping device is installed at powerful pressure equipment and this offers possibility to test samples of big thickness and width, which taken from high strength sheet materials.
EFFECT: more accurate determination of thin and thick material fitness for stamping of details with enhanced accuracy.
