FIELD: physics, measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instruments which are non-destructive during testing of internal parts of tubes, different configurations welded in length, inclusive superimposed on the outer surface of dielectric insulation and outer constructional elements, for example, supports. Device for non-destructive testing of tubes is made in the form of a hollow ball with diagnostic equipment, which consists of two hemispheres, made multi-layered. Between the dielectric hemispheres is placed a stimulating inductive element of an eddy-current transformer, and in the central part of the ball, is placed a receiving-measuring element of the eddy-current transformer with a concentrator, where the inner cavity of the ball is filled with ferromagnetic material, which is the core of the eddy-current transformer.

EFFECT: providing testing in cases, when access to the outer surface is difficult or impossible.
