FIELD: control systems.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods and devices for non-contact quality control of extended objects from electrically conductive materials during production and operation, and also in other industries, where control of extended electrically conductive objects by a non-contact method is required. Essence of the invention is that the method of eddy current monitoring of the extended electrically conductive objects further comprises the steps, on which the extended electrically conductive object is scanned by an eddy current transducer containing at least two inductors of a constant field with poles of different polarity directed oppositely to each other, the inductors being mounted on opposite sides of the extended electrically conductive object, and the sensors for changing the electromagnetic field are placed at the poles of the inductors of a constant field, and eddy currents are excited through the magnetic field change sensors.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of control, the ability to perform diagnosis and trouble-shooting throughout the cross section of the object under control.
