FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: lampholder comprises electric contacts and fixing device for electric lamp base made as clamp (1) with an open state lock and clamp opening device. The clamp (1) is a single element made from dielectric elastic material or spring-reinforced dielectric material; its form provides for tight clasping of the electric lamp base and pressing the holder contact (6) placed at the clasping clamp part (1) to the lamp base (7). When putting lamp (5) into the holder (6) the base (7) is freely passed into the holder (7) opening and the lamp contact (8) presses the holder contact (9) placed at the lock (2) which lets the clamp (1) free. The holder (7) is tightly clasped by the clamp (1). The contact (10) placed at the clamp (1) clasping part is pressed to the lamp holder (7) by the elastic force of the clamp reinforcing spring, and the holder contact (9) is pressed to the lower lamp contact (8) by the elastic force of the lock reinforcing spring. To remove the lamp from the holder it is necessary to press levers (11) ends of the clamp opening device (12) made as a pin on the clamp (1).

EFFECT: simplifying design and reducing injuries caused by electric lamp replacement.
