FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: plug and socket connection includes socket (3), plug (1) with electric cord (2), plug pusher (12), clamp (4) enveloping electric cord (2) so that slipping force of clamp (4) relative to cord (2) is more than the force of allowable cord tension, rope (5) one end of which is fixed on clamp (4), and on the second end of which there installed is tip (7), semiflexible hose (6) allowing the movement of rope inside itself, fixture (11) of pusher, lever (10) for releasing pusher (12) of fork (1) and spring mechanism (15) on the end of hose (6), which is capable of pushing tip (7) of rope (5) from socket. At tension of cord (2) caused by any accidental jerk in any direction, clamp (4) moving together with electric cord (2) pulls rope (5) from hose (6). Tension force of cord through the rope is transmitted to tip (7) which begins moving out of socket (3), thus shifting lever (10). Fixture (11) releases pusher (12), and spring (14) through pushbutton (13) pushes fork (1) from socket (3).

EFFECT: providing automatic disconnection of fork from socket at tension of electric cord in any direction with force which is higher than allowable one.
