FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: applicator is comprised of the first transport plane to convey palletised tiles, second transport plane parallel to the first one to convey supports, devices for transferring ceramic tiles from pallets onto supports in the same tile arrangement, adhesive reservoir located on the side of the second transport plane, and a bearing member. Multiple protruding elements arranged in a defined pattern are fixed on the bearing member. The bearing member can move between its initial position, in which the ends of protruding elements are partially immersed into the adhesive reservoir, and the second position, in which the ends of the protruding elements are brought to one of the surfaces so that part of adhesive comes into contact with this surface and remains on it. In addition ceramic tile transfer devices include a head fitted with numerous suction cups.
EFFECT: increased rate and accuracy of adhesive dot application onto surface.
