FIELD: metallurgy industry.
SUBSTANCE: powder composition is obtained by mixing coarse iron or iron-based particles and 0.04-0.4 wt % of greasing substance with melting point under 25°C and viscosity calculated by the formula 10 log η = k/T + C, where η is viscosity; k is angular coefficient, preferably more than 800, T is Kelvin scale temperature, and C is a constant. Viscosity is more than 15 MPa·c 40°C. Greasing substance represents at least one substance in the group: non-drying oil and fatty plant or animal acid. For obtaining the parts, powder composition is compacted at the pressure approximately more than 800 MPa.
EFFECT: producing high-density parts, and reducing force of stripping-off the compact from the mould.
