FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to metallurgical powder compositions intended for production of extruded articles. Proposed composition comprises, at least, about 80% by wt of iron powder or iron-based powder, up to about 20% by wt of one doping powder, 0.05-2% by wt of binder comprising aliphatic C14-C30-alcohol, and 0.001 - 0.2% by wt of flow additive. Said components are mixed at temperature exceeding fusion point of binder and obtained mix is cooled down.
EFFECT: higher plasticity, production on not sintered compacts with stable weight.
