FIELD: metallurgy industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to nonferrous metallurgy and can be used when preparing the charge for obtaining aluminium alloys used for mould castings. Charge materials are molten, then the melt is overheated up to 1030-1060°C, kept at overheat temperature, and cast at the cooling rate of (1.3÷2.0)·102°C/s.
EFFECT: improving mechanical properties of aluminum alloys which are obtained using prepared charge.
