METHOD FOR RECEIVING CAST TUBAL CATHODE MADE OF ALLOYS BASED ON ALUMINUM FOR ION-PLASMA SPRAYED COATING Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC B22D27/15

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method includes melting of alloy from charge and its priming into preheated casting mold in vacuum, implemented in vacuum-induction furnace. Charge contains aluminum and one or several, chosen from row, containing of silicon, ittrium, nickel, cobalt, chrome, boron or based on it ligature. During melting process it is implemented electromagnetic agitation and refinement of melt. Melt priming is implemented with velocity 6-20 kg/min at temperature 710-850°C into graphite mold with flood bowl and circular tubal rod or metallic divided metal mold with circular tubal rod made of sandy blend or from casting graphite. On internal surface of casted cathode it is applied solder and cathode soldering is implemented with cooled arbor.

EFFECT: improving of cast anodes.
