FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be implemented at tidal power plants, low head river hydro-power plants, wave power plants, and at wind-turbine electric plants with concentrators of wind power. The turbine consists of rotor 1 with blades 2 of wing-shaped profile installed across flow-through chamber 3. At least one cross lug 6 is made in chamber 3; upper facet 7 of lug with a gap adjoins surface of a cylinder swept off with blades 2. In section perpendicular to axis of rotor 1 the side facet of the cross lug facing supplying aperture 4 of flow-through chamber 3 is concave; while at least one tangent to this facet forms acute angle with a section of straight line connecting tangent point with axis of rotor 1; this acute angle is directed to supplying aperture 4 of flow-through chamber 3.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of turbine due to reduction of reference power of idle jets in flow-through chamber of orthogonal turbine.
