FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and may be used for development of highly durable waveguide SHF modules resistant to external effects. For the above mentioned purpose, the module housing is divided into two parts perpendicular to wave guide channel. The first part is provided with through wave guide channel having dumbbell shaped section. It matches the standard cross section of the wave guide and filled in with the special foam material. The second part of the housing with similar channel is also filled in with foam materials and ends up with interfacing plug being the part of the housing. There is a diode in the narrow part of dumbbell-shaped section in the second part of the housing. One diode output is fixed directly to the housing, while the other output is coupled with detector output. The first part of the housing is fixed to the second part and finally holds diode position. The described structure of detector SHF module can withstand long-term moisture attack testing (21 days, 35°C, 100% humidity) without additional safety measures and has high resistance to mechanical effects, particularly to single impacts.
EFFECT: simple structure of waveguide detector module and improved mechanical strength.
