FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns semi-conductor microwave electronics and can be used at creation of waveguide microwave modules with increased durability and stability to external action on the basis of monolithic integrated circuits (MIS). Essence of the invention: the way of creation of the waveguide microwave module, with the case made of two halves, interconnected in the middle of a waveguide channel wide wall, includes installation of a semi-conductor MIS in longitudinal section of a wave guide on the one half of the waveguide case, assemblage (interconnection) of the module from two halves and filling of the waveguide channel by foamed material foaming, injected previously in the case. The foamed material is first injected in both halves of the case and filling of the wave guide channel by foaming of the foamed material in each half separately is performed, then MIS is mounted on one of case halves; after module assemblage is led.
EFFECT: creation of a mechanically strong waveguide microwave module on the basis of MIS, free of such defective features, as operating frequency departure and failure to repair.
