FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a set of portable stand-alone electric power tools such as hand shears, chain saw, fruit collection tools, lawn-mower, trimmer, jack hammer or similar mechanisms. The tool is comprised of at least three separate functional units. The specific feature of the tool is that the second unit (3) is made hand-portable and includes electrochemical lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery (5). The battery consists of serial connection of more than four batteries (6) and control and monitoring module (7). Preferably, the module is to be implemented as electronic device being located in the vicinity of the above battery (5). The module has to ensure timely and controlled supply of maximum battery capacity as well as optimal use of the tool. In addition each battery contains one or several elements being in parallel connection. During operation the first unit (2) is controlled by current-limiting system (8) intended for protecting electrochemical lithium ion or lithium polymer battery (5), which feeds the unit. The third unit (4) includes at least one power supply which current and voltage charging lithium ion or lithium polymer battery (5).
