SUBSTANCE: proposed lithium-ion storage battery charger has temperature control unit and current supply. Temperature control unit functions to control battery temperature in order to keep it within specified temperature range. Mentioned temperature range is divided into plurality of temperature intervals. Current supply feeds lithium-ion battery with current whose magnitude depends on battery temperature and temperature interval in which battery is used.

EFFECT: reduced charging time and enhanced service life of battery.
