SUBSTANCE: invention deals with the electrical engineering and may be used for synchronous generators operation at power plants. The method how to improve synchronous generators operation performance and reliability in high power grids relates to the reduction of mechanical moment of the primary motor of turbine. The advanced or delayed movement of rotor magnetic field axis is reduced simultaneously and gradually at all synchronous generators. The advanced or delayed movement should not exceed five electrical degrees. In addition electromotive force of synchronous generator Eg should exceed maximum value of power grid voltage.
