SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for the production of electricity under the action of flow. Method for producing electricity using turbines and generators with a variable moment of inertia due to the rotation of the screw under the action of flow and rotation of the rotor inside the stator, where in one part the magnetic field is excited by electromagnets or permanent magnets, and in the other part EMF is induced in the winding and when the load is connected, an electric current appears in which two groups of rotors work alternately from one screw in opposite directions, each rotor consists of several rotors having different moments of inertia, which during rotation can be combined into a single system of rotation with a screw or disconnect depending on the change in power flow, generating electricity at optimum speeds of rotation, the screw first spins the first group of rotors and, when changing the flow to the opposite direction, switches to another group of rotors, the rotors of the first group can work as flywheels when the screw and load are disconnected, and other rotors take this energy and generate electricity.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing power generation when changing the flow direction.
