FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: artificial soil contains a water-sorbing three-dimensional polymer in the amount of 0.5-1.0 wt % and of 0.7-2.5 mm fraction composition; biological insecticides and/or fungicides 0.001-0.01 wt %. Additionally the artificial soil contains sodium benzoate 0.1-1.0 wt % as a preserving agent and ascorbic acid in the amount of 0.5-1.0 wt % as an antioxidant. The remaining part of the mix is composed of a natural porous mineral chosen from the group: perlite and/or vermiculite and/or zeolite.

EFFECT: optimal hydrophysical characteristics and stable biological activity of the artificial soil along with its price reduction.
