SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce soil from composts based on organic wastes. Soil from compost with acid reaction contains compost, peat and sand. Compost having pH 5±0.5, is obtained by composting under a membrane cloth in a climatic chamber of coniferous wastes and food wastes of plant origin, wherein the produced compost contains up to 60% of humus organic substance with fraction of up to 0.3 cm and 40% of fine fraction of wood chips and coniferous needles of 0.3–2 cm. Ratio of soil components, wt.%: compost – 70, sand – 15, moor peat, pH 3–5 – 15.

EFFECT: obtaining specialized soil for berry nurseries, decorative floriculture and reforestation of coniferous trees, which has shown its effectiveness in growing acidophilous plants.
