FIELD: technological processes; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to system of short-arc welding between movable wire electrode and blank, to method for control of current pulse and electrode with core for flux. System comprises the following components: power supply source with control device to create current pulse that supplies energy to electrode to melt electrode end, and mode of melt metal transfer, and with tracking of mentioned melt pulse expiry; time sensor for measurement of actual time between pulse expiry and short circuit; device for control of time required from pulse to short circuit; circuit to create correcting signal based on difference between actual time and required time; and circuit sensitive to correcting signal for control of specified parameter of current pulse. Electrode with core is a self-protective electrode with core from flux and contains different electrode compositions, which are especially favorable when used in combination with pulse shape specified by system.
EFFECT: lower levels of welded seams contaminants, high strength properties and durability.
