FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: welding electrode with flux core for welding under protective gas medium, consisting of an iron-based alloy shell and a core within a shell. Electrode contains components in the following ratio, wt %: manganese 0.25-1.50; carbon 0.02-0.12; boron 0.003-0.02; silicon 0.2-1.5; at least one component selected from titanium, magnesium and aluminium, wherein the total content of titanium, magnesium and aluminium 0.2-2.5; titanium dioxide 3-12; at least one arc stabilizing component selected from sodium oxide and potassium oxide in an amount of 0.05-1.0; at least one additional flux component selected from silica dioxide, alumina oxide, magnesium oxide, manganese oxide, zirconium oxide and fluorine-containing compound in an amount of not more than 10; iron and incidental impurities are the rest.

EFFECT: electrode with low manganese content, obtained weld has high mechanical properties.
